BFA's Investment Banking Sector, formally known as BIBA, is the organization's largest sector on a membership basis. The IB E-Board educates the student body on the recruiting process for investment banking internships and full-time positions, as well as provides workshops, networking events with Babson Alumni, and technical-based games and competitions.

The Alternative Investments Sector provides students with the ability to explore and understand various unique fields in the finance industry through guest speaker events and workshops. Whether it is Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, or another topic, there is no limit to the topics our sector covers.

While the corporate finance career path typically flies under the radar at the undergraduate level, many finance students end up working for a variety of companies in corporate finance roles. This sector aims to introduce this field and initiate interest for those that were previously unaware of the sector.

The Asset Management Sector of the Babson Finance Association focuses on hosting both virtual and in-person events that cover the different aspects of the asset management industry of finance. Through organizing speaker events with professionals from bulge bracket firms like J.P. Morgan and career-related events like resume workshops, the goal of this sector is to strengthen the finance community at Babson and educate students about different components of the industry. The Asset Management Sector leaders hope that you have the opportunity to attend the sector’s future events, and that you learn and meet new people in the process!
